To all of you who are interested in, or have used our product, Nolo Bait TM, biological control for grasshoppers, we sincerely appreciate your interest and your business. Unfortunately, we have some very sad news to share with you. We have suffered a devastating fire at our business location and will not be able to supply Nolo Bait for the remainder of 2018. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to serve you again in the future.
We know this is a hardship for those of you who have come to rely on Nolo Bait over the years and we are so sorry we can’t be of help this season with such rough drought conditions in so much of the country and grasshoppers abounding. We are working hard to regroup and begin work on reconstruction. We will post updates as available so that you will be informed and know when we are able to fill orders again. We are currently able to receive emails at firstname.lastname@example.org and telephone messages on our business voicemail at (970) 259-3521.
Thank you for your patience and best wishes, Lee Anne Merrill, President M&R Durango, Inc
We would like to thank you all for your continued interest as we move forward with the recovery process from our recent business loss due to fire. We sincerely appreciate all of the support and encouragement to rebuild the business after such an overwhelming experience. We feel a deep connection with all of our customers and have regretted not being able to supply Nolo Bait for the remainder of the 2018 season. The fact that so many of you want us to persevere and continue to make Nolo Bait available has spurred us on and helped us to stay excited as we undertake such a daunting process.
We are happy to report that we have been able to start transitioning into a “new to us” building that we feel will be a great fit for our needs and allow us to resume providing Nolo Bait in the most expedient timeframe possible. We are now located in the town of Bayfield, CO in an 8000 sq. ft. steel frame building located in the town’s industrial park right across the street from the fire station, which is a comfort to us! In the long-term, the building will need extensive remodeling but in the short-term we can make do with some temporary adjustments in order to provide Nolo Bait for next season. We do not know how much we will be able to make available but rest assured, we are doing everything possible to produce as much as we can for next year.
Currently, we are preparing temporary insect rearing and laboratory rooms and bringing in replacement equipment and supplies with the hopes of beginning preliminary host grasshopper production by mid-September. The first round of the active ingredient, Nosema, production will follow, allowing us to begin filling early spring orders for 2019 by February if all goes well. Our production process will be ongoing and we will continue to fill orders as we are able to produce spore during the remaining 2019 late spring through summer season.
Best wishes to all of you for a wonderful fall season and we will continue to update as we move along!
